Seit den Anfängen von KERBHOLZ ist es uns wichtig, die Menschen kennenzulernen, die hinter der Herstellung unserer Produkte stehen. Für uns bedeutet dies auch, zu wissen, dass sie unsere Uhren unter guten Bedingungen bauen können und im besten Fall sogar so viel Spaß bei der Arbeit haben wie wir. ;-)
Deshalb treffen wir uns regelmäßig mit unseren Partnern, unterhalten uns über Neuigkeiten und entwickeln gemeinsam spannende Ideen und Projekte. Wir sehen sie als Teil der großen KERBHOLZ-Familie und dies wird von der gegenseitigen Unterstützung für weitere Verbesserungen auf beiden Seiten begleitet.

SHENZHEN - EINE MODERNE HIGHTECH-METROPOLE MIT GRÜNEN AMBITIONEN
Der erste Teil unserer Reise führt uns nach Südchina, genauer gesagt nach Shenzhen. Eine Stadt, die in den 80er Jahren noch ein Fischerdorf war und sich in den letzten 30 Jahren zu einer echten Metropole mit 13 Millionen Einwohnern entwickelt hat. Die Menschen in Shenzhen sind jung, dynamisch, kreativ und einer der Pioniere der Nachhaltigkeit - sie verfolgen die Idee einer grünen Stadt, zum Beispiel mit der größten Elektrobusflotte der Welt oder mit dem Bau des neuen Flughafens wird mit Sonnenenergie betrieben und sammelt und nutzt Regenwasser.
Der Großteil unserer Uhren wird an diesem aufregenden Ort hergestellt. Und hier möchten wir Ihnen zeigen, dass die moderne Weltstadt Shenzhen und ihre fortschrittlichen Produktionen nichts mehr mit den ehemals berüchtigten zu tun haben "In China hergestellt".
Deshalb hatten wir bei unserem letzten Besuch unseren Fotografen Marco Klahold dabei, der mit seiner Kamera die Herstellung unserer Uhren für Sie dokumentierte.

LET's TAKE A LOOK BEHIND THE SCENES
Since the beginning of KERBHOLZ it has been important to us to get to know the people behind the production of our products. For us, this also means knowing that they can build our watches under good conditions and in the best case even have as much fun at work as we do. ;-)
That's why we meet regularly with our partners, chat about news and develop exciting ideas and projects together. We see them as part of the big KERBHOLZ family and this is accompanied by mutual support for further improvements on both sides.

SHENZHEN - A MODERN HIGH-TECH METROPOLE WITH GREEN AMBITIONS
The first part of our journey takes us to South China, more precisely to Shenzhen. A city that was still a fishing village in the 80s and has developed into a real metropole with 13 million inhabitants in the last 30 years. The people of Shenzhen are young, dynamic, creative and one of the pioneers of sustainability - they are pursuing the idea of a green city, for example with the largest fleet of electric buses in the world or the construction of the new airport, which is powered by solar energy and collects and uses rainwater.
The majority of our watches are produced at this exciting location. And here we would like to show you that the modern cosmopolitan city of Shenzhen and its advanced productions no longer have anything in common with the formerly infamous "Made in China".
Therefore we had our photographer Marco Klahold with us during our last visit, who documented the production of our watches for you with his camera.
